Brain Tumour Research Survey 2026

Help to shape the future of brain tissue biobanking in the UK

Help to shape the future of brain tissue biobanking in the UK

Calling researchers and clinicians who currently use, have sought, or plan to use brain tumour and/or control tissue and associated data in their research.

Brain research is entering a new era, driven by advances in precision medicine, genomics, digital pathology, imaging and AI. But realising this potential depends on timely access to high-quality tissue and associated data – something we know can present a significant bottleneck for researchers.

Brain Tumour Research is undertaking a review of the neuropathological tissue biobanking landscape in the UK, and we need your views. Your input will help to identify priorities for improvement and inform recommendations to strengthen and optimise brain tissue biobanking for future research.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed here. The survey will close at midday on 30th September.

All responses will be treated confidentially and reported only in aggregate or anonymised form.

Many thanks for your help!

Joanna Cull (Research Funding Officer, Brain Tumour Research)

on behalf of Karen Noble (Director of Research, Policy and Innovation)
