The 26. Klenk Symposium presents the state-of-the-art research that focuses on treatments designed to modulate the production of ROS by NOX enzymes that could provide new therapeutic approaches for various pathological processes for example neurodegeneration, cancer, atherosclerosis, defective immune function, inflammatory conditions and hypothyroidism. In this way, the Klenk Symposium 2010 may be sensed as an interesting sequel of this year's Gordon Research Conference on Nox Family NADPH Oxidases held on June 06 - 11, 2010 in Les Diablerets, CH.

BNOS 2010 Meeting Report

The annual British Neuro-oncology Society meeting was hosted in Glasgow 23-25 June 2010 with a BNS sponsored session during the meeting. A report of the meeting has been compiled by Dr. Aditya Shivane.

The annual meeting of the British Neuro-Oncology Society was held recently in Glasgow. The meeting themed ‘Collaboration & Teamwork’ lived up to its expectations and was well attended by more than 200 delegates from various neuroscience disciplines, patient carer groups and brain tumour charities all across the UK and the world.

British Neuro Oncology Society

The British Neuro Oncology Society (formally known as the British Neuro Oncology Group) is established to promote research and education in Neuro-Oncology and to improve treatment of patients with tumours of the central nervous system. The members of the society represent and consist of the various disciplines both scientific and clinical involved in research and management of children and adults with tumours of the central nervous system.
